Spider-Man leaked in Age of Ultron…maybe not

All we seem to be hearing about lately is Avengers: Age of Ultron. Whether it’s a trailer, a toy, a poster, or a spoof, Age of Ultron has saturated the market thanks to the internet and viral marketing. With all of that media being thrown in our face, it seems like nothing could surprise us at this point. But with a recent “questionably” leaked clip of the supposed Age of Ultron after credits scene, there may be a few surprises to be had. Check out the clip of Spider-Man “possibly” appearing in Avengers: Age of Ultron from the clip below.


While it seems very well done and follows the usual Marvel fashion for an after credits scene, signs are pointing to this clip being fake. The main giveaway that this clip is fake is that neither Disney nor Marvel have taken down the clip and it’s been over 24 hours. The other sign is that Joss Whedon has openly said that there will be no after credits scene in the film, which leads me to believe that this clip is a hoax.

Could we see Spidery integrated into the Ultron story?

While my skepticism is telling me this clip is fake, my fanboy side is begging for this clip to be real. The Avengers Tower in the background and Spider-Man cracking his usual jokes have me giddy with hope. If Spider-Man were to be introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron, this would be an opportunity for his character to really grow in Captain America: The Winter Soldier instead of what I expect to be only a short cameo appearance.
